In 1963, I was a Minneapolispolice officer. My wife, a homemaker,started our Shaklee business with a $4.00 investment. She bought two quart bottles of BASIC-H, amulti purpose cleaning product, a bundle of instruction sheets and a bag of1oz. sample bottles. She used one quartof the product in our home and made up samples with the second quart which shegave out to some of our friends, neighbors and relatives. We signed up as distributors, those who likedthe product, so they could sell to their friends. With this simple program, working part timeout of our home, we have built one of the largest sales organizations inShaklee doing over $2,000,000 in sales volume every month. Today, after 48 years in the business, I am 83 years old and receive over $3,000 a day in bonus income.
